I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!!! We actually finished a book (technically) and are starting on the second!!!!  I'm so excited for this one. Okay sooo you know all of your characters and I know all of mine. Full Name: Levi Shane Beckett Age: 18 Looks:  5'10, righty (Yes, I did have to include this  ), his right ear was half blown off by Nixon Personality: He is determined to fight for what he believes in, even though he landed a spot in prison for doing just that. He cares about others and can be protective, risking his own life for his fellow rebels. He can be slightly merciful but will do anything in a fight to ensure his own safety and the safety of the people he's trying to protect. He tries to stay strong in all situations and would take fight over flight any day. If he goes down, he'll go down swinging. Underneath he does have a softer side that comes out when he has nothing to fight for. History: Not sharing the same views, his government supporting parents kicked Levi out when they realized their son was siding with the rebels. Levi was 13 at the time and went to live with his Uncle Silas, who made him into a topnotch rebel, at times even prizing him over his own two children, Levi was Silas's perfect soldier. A lot of rebels were young men or women, a large portion of them were teens like Levi so it wasn't a surprise that he was only fifteen when he was one of the riot leaders that were taken into custody after nearly destroying an entire city. The others were given the death penalty and served it immediately. Levi, still being a minor, by law could not be given the death penalty until he turned eighteen. For the three years that they had to wait, the government decided to use Levi as the poster-child of what happens to hose that defy he government. They handed him over to Brigadier General Nixon Scott Timely, who was authorized to physically and mentally torture Levi, for a kind of punishment-for-propaganda, anti-rebel campaign. When he did turn eighteen the government turned him over to an experimental program in which they took his soul and replaced it with 'darkness', a synthetic life-force. They then sent him out into the wild with Zayna as his partner, and sent a group of highly trained killers after the two to kill them off. Even if they did evade the guards, the darknss would eventually kill them off. Fortunately Zayna saved his soul (and her heart) when they broke into the prison. Levi and Zayna, along with new accomplice Rhys Maddison-Voyce, reunited in a nearby town before they were able to make their way back to the rebel camps in one of the rebel states. Now they are preparing to fight in the all-out war that is about to engulf the southern-based nation as soon as rebel leaders are able to gain support from the northern states. Full Name: Silas Raen West Age: 47 Looks:  6'3, righty Personality: Strict leader, can be a bit of a kidder when he's not busy, there's not much to him really he can come across as gruff and a very stern figure History: He took Levi in and saw his potential, sensing that he was a true devote rebel. His personal story doesn't play into the book very much but he has a wife and two children- Cameron and Xade- and had adopted Levi into his family. Position: One of the key leaders in the rebellion. Full Name: Cameron Evonne West Age: 22 Looks:  5'4, lefty, her hair isn't always that neat and she's not that pale Personality: She's strong-willed and always trying to b the best that she can be. She has always felt she's in competition with Levi ever since her dad opened his arms to him and made him his favorite. Cameron is kind of jealous of Levi and she tends to be hateful to him quite often. At first she can be closed off and reserved, but if you befriend her she will be loyal to no end.
History: She grew up in a world of barracks and rebel camps, no doubt she was destined to join them one day. She has always wanted to make her father proud of her and she hopes to do that by being a top notch soldier in the rebel army. She tries her best and follows orders to a 'T'. When Levi was imprisoned she finally thought she could get the attention from her father that she wanted, but instead her father devoted even more time into trying to get Levi out and trying to push the war even further. She doesn't have a very close relationship with her father, but she and her brother are very close.

Full Name: Xade Athen West Age: 25 Looks:  5'11, righty, he doesn't smile Personality: He's kind of quiet and cool, he comes across as a man made of stone and he has a serious attitude, rarely jokes around but is open to conversation and will talk openly with people. He's strong physically and mentally. History: Basically the same as Cameron, but he's not jealous of Levi, he typically ignored Levi and just worried about himself. He has several friends but he has experienced the war first-hand and has hardened up quite a bit. Position: rebel Family Members/ Positions: Not gonna list them again lol sorry |

Full Name: Rhys David Maddison-Voyce Age: 20 Looks:  5'7, righty, his hair is blonder and curlier than that Personality: cute, sarcastic, a little bit awkward, he's not extremely coordinated but he is very smart and kind of endearing. He comes across as sweet and innocent even though he spends his time hacking into government systems and doing all kinds of technical stuff for the rebels. He would've been lost as a prisoner so it's fortunate that he escaped before he was locked in forever. History: He grew up in Utah, the wavering state in the rebel/government conflict and went to a private tech based school where he learned and earned his skills as a valuable hacker. He uses his skills for the rebel army to gain intel and other important imformation to use against the southern government. He was arrested after the government tracked him down. Usually he tends to stay mobile in order not to be closed in on by the government. He hadn't realized that the town of Reverand was so close to a large military prison and he was captured. He met Levi the night he was being brought to the prison to actually be locked in and he was able to escape. Full Name: Elyssa Lynn Maddison-Voyce Age: 14 Looks:  5'3, righty, usually has hair in a ponytail Personality: She's a very bright, extremely smart young girl, she sticks around the barracks and wants to fight with the rest of the soldiers but her parents tell her she's too young and encourage her to do something that would use hair brains instead. She befriend's many people though and eventually weeds her way into getting to join the rebel army. History: Grew up in Utah and moved when her parents weapon making skills were needed by the rebel army. She got so bored around the barracks and decided she desperately wanted to fight. Anything to get away from the constant drag of being young and not needed she decided that joining the rebel army would give her a chance for some adventure. Full Name: Zayna Luraine Beckle Age: 16 Looks:  Her hair is like super straight though and she's a bit tanner Personality: Zayna is a sweet, caring girl. Growing up, she always tried to see the best side of things and was optimistic. As she got older though, her views started to change. She realized not everyone is what they appear to be and that few people can be relied on. She learned to take care of herself and to trust no one. It takes a lot for her to open up to someone and she rarely ever asks for help, even if she needs it badly. She tends to keep to herself and would rather cry than fight with someone. She is very passionate about her beliefs and would die for them, just like her parents did. When it comes to punishment though, she doesn't find it right to kill anyone for any reason. Justice will never be served so why seek revenge? History: Zayna's parents were both rebels. They were very active in the rebellion and were often running from the government. When the government was after them one time, they ran, leaving their daughter (only 9) with close friends. But when the government couldn't find them, they took Zayna instead. Zayna stayed in prison for almost seven years, being emotionally and physically mistreaten. While in jail, Zayna was told of her parents deaths, that they had finally been caught and killed by the government. Every day, she grieves of the parents that left her. The government decided they had no use for her but didn't want to kill her quite yet, so they made a purpose for her. She was turned over to an experimental group and used as a guinea pig. Her heart was taken from her, replaced with a synthetic life-force of darkness that has become known as Wisps. She was sent into the wilderness with a young man named Levi as her partner who lost his soul to recover their possessions. As they fought to find them, they were being chased by highly trained guards who were out to kill them. Luckily, they recovered their heart and soul and evaded being killed by the guards. Zayna joined up with another young man named Rhys and he brought her to a town where she was reunited with Levi. Currently, they are all in a rebel camp, training for combat and working for the Rebellion. Full Name:Nixon Scott Timely Age: 27 Looks:  6'0, lefty, his hair is slightly lighter and it's longer/wavy, more clean-shaven, and his light-grey eyes will pierce your soul O.o Personality: Oh, Nixon! Where to start?! I mean, how do I even describe this guy?! Well...... He can be evil, manipulative, he'll pull his rank over you, intimidating, sarcastic, cocky, fearless, proud, a good leader (even if others don't always like the way he does things), self-centered, extremely sexy southern accent (the kind that's soft and sophisticated), he carries himself with dignity and class even though many view him as the spawn of Satan. He really has been through so much in his life to negatively shape him but he's devoted himself to moving up in his career, even if that means leaving others in the dust to get there. There are a few people he may genuinely care for but he's mainly watching out for himself. There's nothing that can stop him from destroying every last rebel, even if it kills him. History: A Brigadier General in the army. He has a unique side-job providing punishment for rebel prisoners. He is high up in the system and is well known for being a ruthless, but strategically genius, leader and a top shot with a hand gun. He specialized in strategic planning and battle strategy. He earned the rank of BG when he was nearly 25 and has become the leader of a special forces group including Erynn, Xera, and Lennox. In his earlier life, before he joined the military, his father (A colonel) left his mother when Nixon was five years old to pursue his military career without a family to drag him down. His mother married a man named Jericho who turned Nixon's life upside down. He had two younger half-siblings, twins named Sara and Jason. Eventually Jericho committed several crimes and was imprisoned. Nixon's mother couldn't support her children and her growing addiction to heroin so Nixon, at age 11, left with his twin siblings and went to live with his grandparents. Life was normal for him after that. He was somewhat of a genius by school standards and had lots of potential. He was kind of a popular guy and befriended a boy who would become like family to him, Erynn's older brother Alex. When Nixon was 16 and Alex was 17 they joined the armed forces together. Nixon decided that was where he could advance the furthest in his life. Nixon and Alex were best fried's and unstoppable battle buddies until one day they went into battle and Alex didn't make it out. He had been sniping on the top story of a building that was bombed by the rebels. Nixon had to deliver the news to Alex's family. Like everyone else, Nixon was devastated but he just drove himself further into work to get away from the terrible remorse he felt. He didn't agree with Erynn's choice to join he army in her brother's footsteps, and tried to discourage her. He still wishes she had stuck to being a battlefield medic instead of decided to be a sniper and he worries about her choice frequently. Eventually though he got to the point he was at when the last story started. After that he was shot in the left leg by Levi, ouch. And he saved Erynn's life by shielding her from falling debris as the prison collapsed. The concrete block that hit him caused several rough abrasions on his back, bruised it terribly, and broke three ribs, one of them nearly puncturing his lung. They would do anything for the cause and really, they already have by abandoning their daughter. Coby is just like them in that way but he is also like Zayna as he is very kind and sweet. He's a tough little man and has lived through a lot. History: Miranda and Leon have always been involved in the Rebellion. When they got pregnant with Zayna, they were less involved because they worried about the safety of their daughter. After a while though, the longing to help was too great and they were once again doing everything they could. WHen the government came looking for them one time, they were out for blood. Miranda and Leon were scared for their daughter so they entrusted her to a close friend and took off. When they found out Zayna had been taken into custody, they tried EVERYTHING they could to rescue her. But they never succeeded. During this time, they got pregnant and had another child. Coby was always raised in the rebellion and knows nothing else. He believes in it with all his might but deep down, he longs to meet his big sister. Full Name: Erynn Nicole King Age: 23 Looks:  5'8, athletic body type, righty Personality: She's obviously not as hardened up as her fellow partners in combat. She sees the good in everyone and has known Nixon longer than any of the others and harbors a strange crush on him that has been with her since she first met him and got to know him since he was always hanging out with her older brother. She is deadly with a sniper rifle, but she doesn't take pride in killing, shes just doing what has to be done. She wants to win the war. She sees the rebels as crazy, destructive, and inhumane. AS for group relations, she gets along well with Lennox, has her long-time connection with Nixon, and isn't sure how she feels about Xera. Overall she's soft and vulrnerable, she hates arguing but tries to keep her head on straight despite the circumstances she's in. History: (Long story) Erynn was born in New Mexico and her family moved to Georgia when tensions got high in her area about four years after she was born. When she was enrolled into school, she was a quiet and patient person, only having a few close friends. Her older brother, Alex, made quite a few friends, including Nixon. Erynn ended up spending a lot of time around her brother and his friends, and always got along with them quite well. When Erynn was about twelve, Alex and Nixon decided to join the army together. Erynn had always looked up to them and admired them and so for the next four years she waited until she was finally old enough to enlist in the army. During her first month of basic training she got a letter from her brother that he and Nixon had been transferred from General Defense into a special ops regiment that was fighting against a large group of rebels. Erynn thought that was a good move up in the system, but the growing power of the rebels along with the ongoing war worried her. Almost six weeks later she was nearing the end of her training and was getting to a point to where she had to choose what specialty she was going to pursue in her advanced training. She was leaning towards going into medical training until one day when Nixon met her at the fort. She was shocked and excited to see him, but he wasn't so happy to be there. He was there to tell her that her brother was killed in combat. Erynn was completely crushed but decided to push through and finish basic training. When graduation day came she decided to change her specialty and continue her brother's legacy as a first-class sniper. She is always being compared to him, and though her skills are just as good, or even better, she is underestimated because of her girly appearance and also her emotional tendencies. Full Name: Xera Amanda Brown Age: 24 Looks:  Personality: Xera is a manipulative, complicated woman. She can be compared to a feline; quick, sneaky, quiet, and lethal. She is an excellent fighter with good skills. Because she's so small, she is often the person to cram into small places or go on an expedition to gain information. She would be the perfect guard except that she is very emotion filled. She will never show it but she is always overcome with feelings that a guard shouldn't have. Remorse, pain, guilt. She also has very little tolerance for people. If she decides she doesn't like you, she doesn't like you. History: Xera's dad became a government was official when the US separated. Her mom didn't agree with the newly found government and begged her dad to get out of it and to not support it. He refused, causing tension between the family. Eventually, Xera's mom decided to leave with the children. Xera's father became very angry, threatening them all. He lost his temper and started waving around a gun. When Xera's twin sisters wouldn't quit crying he turned on them, called them weaklings, and shot them both in the head. He then turned and shot Xera's mom, over and over. Xera, in shock, left with her father as he covered up what had happened. He raised her to be the government praising young lady she is today. Xera has tried to knock out all memories of that frightening night, but sometimes they still creep in and she loses it. Full Name: Isaac Benjamin Lloyd Age: 19 Looks:  Personality: Isaac is an escape artist of outstanding value. The old legend Houdini has nothing on him. Ever since he was little, he has had a knack for spying, getting out of sticky situations, and fighting. He isn't the best shot in the world, actually he kinda sucks butt with guns in general, but when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, you better be scared. Because he's grown up in the rebellion, he has some pretty big trust issues. He has seen first hand how bad the government is and has been betrayed more than once. It takes a lot for him to let you in. Isaac is in no way sweet. The phrase 'hard as a rock' describes him completely. The words deadly and lethal are some of his favorite. He'd rather be by himself than around people and tends to only talk when the situation demands it. He is highly opiniated and will fight for what he believes in at any cost. History: Isaac was raised in the rebellion. He has never known anything else, and he's perfectly okay with that. Since he was in diapers, he has been trained to fight and kill. He has learned many skills and tricks that other people wouldn't know. When Isaac was only 14, his father went to a rebel mission with the head leader, Silas. While there, guards attacked. Isaac's father jumped in front of a bullet to save Silas. Silas tried to help him escape but Isaac's father knew it was hopeless. He sacrificed himself for the cause and is now known as a hero of the rebellion. That is when Isaac closed up and never let anyone in again. Isaac misses his father every day and night.
