I nodded in agreement. "So what else is in that bag? Please tell me some magical healing pills?" I said sarcastically but also a bit hopefully. My stomach was killing me and I didn't know if I'd even be able to walk that far once we got going again.

"I dunno. The first aid kit is right over there if you want to look through it." I tell her, pointing to her left. I unzip the bag and dump it out between us. Among everything else in the pile the first things I noticed were a small ammunition box, a bundle of rope and a compass. I picked the compass up before looking through everything else in the pile. "Well there's a compass, so there's gotta be a map in here somewhere." I said.

I wasn't really paying attention to Levi anymore. "Yeah," I agreed distantly, looking through the first aid kit. I found some pain killers and swallowed them dry, hoping they'd kick in fast. The taste was bitter on my tongue but I tried my best to ignore it. I grabbed the backpack from Levi and started rummaging through the unzipped pockets. There were some matches and flares in a waterproof bag, an assortment on knives, and.. aha! A map! I held it up triumphantly and grinned. "I do believe this is what you are looking for," I said in a professional type voice to Levi.

I look up at her and she the map held in her hands. A wide smile spreads across my face. "Oh, that's amazing!" I exclaim. "Here, let's take a look at it." I suggest, scooting closer and reaching for the map.

I handed it over and smiled to myself, somewhat proud. In a weird sense, I felt like I had redeemed myself a little. I hadn't told Levi about my stomach, even though it was bad, and that caused me to pass out and lose us time. And all because I didn't want to seem weak. Maybe not admitting I was hurt was what was weak. I mean, everyone needs help at some point or another, right?
"So, we have a map and a compass.. But how is any of that gonna help us if we don't know where we are?" I asked.

"I guess we'll have to look for a landmark and try to guess. We know where we started and where we've gone since then, so maybe we can figure it out." I say as I unfold the map. I turn it right side up and look it over. It showed mountains, the river we almost drowned in, and the vast forest we were stuck in. There were no nearby cities but there was a building in the left corner of the map. It was fenced off from the rest of the map, or well, maybe the rest of the map was fenced off from the building.
"Well I guess we're pretty much in a mouse trap here..." I observed. "We're fenced in but... Maybe there's some way we can get out. The only other thing close to here is that building. I guess that's the prison." I stared at it for awhile longer in wonder. "It's crazy, I never expected it to be that big." I've only ever seen parts of the prison, and they rarely took me anywhere without knocking me out first. I sometimes thought that was a relief, but other times I thought it was just another way for them to torture me. It was like waking up from one nightmare just to find myself in another one.
((Sorry again! I was going to get gas and pick up dinner with Jeff :S Other than this just being a long comment anyway xD))

((Haha I am also sorry!! I was getting treated for my lice  )) Rayna "I did.. but I've been there once before. It's.. crazy inside. A ton of corriders and hallways and stairs to no where," I told him quietly, remembering the one and only time I had been in there. It was only for a short period of time but I had been taught, ever since I was little, to know my surroundings at all times, so I remembered quite a bit about it. "And if I'm remembering correctly, I'm pretty positive that it's north of where we are now. So that means we're somewhere in this general area," I pointed to the map, showing him where I meant. |

((Wait, weren't they both prisoners??? So they would've already been in the prison, like that's where they came from... And they're just out in this big hunger games arena type area or something... Either that or the prison has a fence around it cause you know, that's like where their heart and souls are and stuff so they'd have to get through the fence somehow and then break in or whatever to get them back...))

((..... Hmm... I might be off I guess, but I always figured that they were in two separate facilities in like two separate towns and that those facilities were just smaller branches of the main artery which is the prison they are now talking about.. Haha I don't know! That's what I honestly thought!!!))

((Oh yeah, that makes sense... I just thought they were in the same facility but like never saw each other because Levi was in solitary confinement or something... But either way could work... Hmmm idk now though xD What would you rather go with???))

((Well I would rather go with mine so that I don't look like a complete fool xD But either way works.. I kinda like my way though, just because then it makes the government or whatever it is seem like more in power so it makes more sense than having one place that is so powerful))
