Echo nodded, "Okay," she let him speak to the servant, watching as the man nodded and went to ready the carriage.

Aaron sat down on the ground, and without thinking pulled her into his lap. "This way you won't dirty your dress." He smiled mischievously, playfully.

Aaron smiled widely, "Oh you know us pirates. We always have ulterior motives." He teased, one hand resting comfortably on her waist.

"It's my pleasure princess." He told her, relaxing his weight on one arm. After a few moments the carriage was brought around and he helped her inside before following suit.

Echo sat down inside the carriage, humming to herself as they made their way to the ship.

Eventually they reached the port and Aaron escorted Echo along the docks. They received numerous double takes. Many people glared at Aaron as they walked, but he pretended not to notice.

"Why are people glaring at us?" Echo whispered, looking up at him.

"You're married to a pirate princess...A very bad one at that." He said softly, quickening their pace. "They don't like it any more than your father would, I'm sure."

"Oh," she mumbled, walking faster to keep up with him. She sighed in relief when she saw the ship. She didn't know why, but the thought of being on the ship made her feel better.

Aaron walked with her onto the ship. He spotted Blake on the upper deck and waved at him to announce his presence.

"Aaron's back!" Blake called, "The princess too!"
Echo unconsciously moved closer to Aaron after Blake announced that she was there too.

Jane cursed, but put on a smile as she ran over to the pair near the entrance of the ship. The rest of the crew didn't know for sure what was going on. No doubt they would parade them with questions about their absence and when they were leaving this place. She sprinted over, "Aaron, the crew... You need to talk to them." She said, "They don't know about Echo yet." She said, as some more people approached.
Aaron pulled Echo closer to his side, an arm protectively wrapped around her waist. He felt her tense beside him. "I'm going to take you to my quarters while I talk to the crew okay?" He smiled a bit, stressed.
