Aaron shrugged, "I promise that they'll be thrilled to give you a better first impression." He told her, making light of the situation. In truth, he didn't know how she would react if she found out about all the horrible things he'd done in life all over again.

Aaron smiled, "Oh I'm sure of it." He told her, and dismounted his horse once they arrived back at the stables. He moved to help Echo off hers, since she was still in a dress.

Echo accepted his help, hopping off of the horse. She de-saddled him and put him back in the stall. "Okay. Ready?"

Aaron nodded, taking her small hand in his. She had accumulated calluses during her time on the ship, but even so her hand remained dainty within his. He smiled to himself as he looked down at their hands, before looking up to meet her gaze. She wasn't gone, but he missed her terribly.

Echo gave him a small smile, "Lead the way, okay?" she asked, looking up at him.

Aaron just nodded silently, and walked with her hand in hand towards the castle.

Echo hummed softly as they walked, thinking to herself about what the ship could be like. After a while, she decided to just ask Aaron instead. "Aaron? What's the ship like? the people?"

Aaron thought for a while about how to answer. "The ship is dirty, and filled with dirty people. It's smelly, and most of the food is awful. The people are usually drunk, so they're notorious for making questionable choices." He started, "Most of my crew have been with me for years now, at least, the crew that's left from the fire. They served with my father, and should I have children will likely serve with them should they live long enough. We live a life of crime, which means we're not good men, but we're far from bad. To those the people on my ship are loyal to, they would die for." He looked down at her, "Everyone on the ship loves you." He announced, "You came aboard at one of my darkest times, and brought life back to the ship and my crew. Somehow you turned my dirty, smelly ship filled with questionable people into a home." He gave her a smile. "I don't know if that answers any of your questions or not...But that's it really. I can tell you about Blake and Jane, about Archer, but really I think you should get to know them yourself."

Echo smiled, as she listened to the way he spoke about the ship. "That sounds...interesting," she laughed, and then said, "I don't remember it, but I'm glad that I was on the ship, if I really helped as much as you say I did."

Aaron nodded, "If you never get your memories back then you'll never be able to understand..." He agreed, "but you'll love it still the same." He hoped.

Her smile faltered. She had never thought that he memories could never come back. Instead of talking about it, she forced a convincing smile and said, "how long until we are there?"

Aaron shrugged, "We're in the middle of the town being at your castle, and we have to get to the coast. It'll take a while yet, I'm afraid." He told her honesty.

Echo nodded, "Okay," she replied, looking around at the scenery.

Aaron thought about it, "We had better take a carriage though." He said, "You're probably still weak from your fall. I'd feel better if you didn't exhaust yourself by walking." He started to wave a servant over.
