She gently moved his head so his airway was free. "Did you have a boat in venice?" She asked curtly, the first question that came to her mind. He had to stay awake, and reaponsive.

She gave a small grin. "I've always wanted to go there." Her hands were slick with blood now. She placed another wad of cotton over the amount in her hands. "I guess I thought enlisting would let me see the world. But all I see now is the inside of tents and men who were nearly killed by exotic places." She said in a dreamy tone.

She poured his a hearty shot of whiskey before helping him sit up, and putting the shot glass to his lips. "Say when."

She gave him a sad smile, and grabbed her cauterizing tool. She placed it into the candle near by, allowing it to heat up. "This is going to hurt a lot." She stated.

She looked at him, frowning. She placed the gag back into his mouth. She put her tool into the wound, and the smell of burning flesh made its way to her nostrils. She pulled it away, and quickly bandaged the wound up, before he could even react.!

Daniel bit down hard on the gav, trying not to cry out in pain. As soon as it was over, he closed his eyes, still gritting his teeth.
