Rory had made enough for a small army, she always seemed to cook to much but she was happy that Conner would get to try her cooking. She opened the large lunch box and rumaged through her bag before pulling out some plates for the food. "Hope ye like it i know Alex does" She said with a sweet smile as she placed some hot stew on the plates.
Alex chuckled and dug right into his lunch "Aye Sister best cook" He said in between mouthfuls.

I led the way over to the table and sat down.
Najden
I looked around the cafeteria for Sarah, then finally spotted the back of her head. I started in that direction.

Sarah followed Jayna, sitting next to her. "Did you bring your lunch?" she asked, making conversation.
Connor saw all the food. "Wow.. It looks really good," he said smiling at her. Alex had already started eating and Connor's mouth was already watering.

Rory smiled "ENjoy please eat" She said sweetly her emerald eyes sparkled with delight, as she began eatin.
Alex grinned stuffing his mouth full of his sisters cooking.

"Yeah," I said, retrieving a blue bag. I was going to say more, but just then Najden walked up, set two pencils in front of Sarah with a loud 'tap', and walked away without acknowledging me or saying a word.
I looked confused for a second, but continued the conversation. "Yeah, I've got a pb+j."

Sarah looked at the pencils and then Najden's retreating form. She gently picked them up and slid them in her pack. "Sounds like you have a good lunch," she said smiling.
Connor started to dig into his meal/ "Rory, this is delicious," he said, pausing for a moment before continuing to eat.

Rory went red and smiled "Thank ye Conner" She said as she ate her own.
Alex had finished his and hiccuped quite loudly, he went red with embarrasment before laughing.

I slipped out of the cafeteria, ignored a teacher who asked where I was going, and went up to the empty science classroom. The door, as usual, was unlocked. I stepped inside, closing the door quietly behind me.

"What do you have?" I asked, taking out my sandwich.

Connor chuckled with Alex. "Thank you," he told her, "This is a wonderful meal."
Sarah looking in her sack. "Looks like carrots, an apple, and a turkey sandwich.'

I nodded. "Not bad at all." I smiled a little, remembering that the field trip was tomorrow. "Ready for the trip?"

I grabbed the cushion off of what was meant to be the teacher's desk chair and went to lay down in the back of the room.

I could hear the muffled sounds of teachers and students talking. There was a video playing somewhere. I might have found these distracting or annoying were I not so tired. I probably shouldn't skip class, I reflected. But that didn't matter too much to me. I closed my eyes and was asleep in less than a minute.

Sarah looked up at Jayna quickly. "That's tomorrow?" she asked, excitement leaking into her voice. "I totally forgot that was tomorrow!"
