Connor smirked slightly but he didn't need getting in trouble any more so he hid it easily.
Sarah just looked on with worry and a little bit of horror. She had never talked back like this to anyone with authority.

I watched the teacher stalk up to the front of the room and grab a slip of paper from one of the drawers. She scribbled something furiously on it, then returned and put it angrily on my desk. "One hour detention. Tonight." She stalked off. I watched her go, my expression impassive.

I didn't think anyone was paying attention to the movie at this point. There'd probably be material from it on a test, but I supposed everyone thought this was more interesting.

Class couldn't end soon enough. Finally, it did, and I left, crumpling up my detention slip and dropping it in the wastebasket on my way out.

Sarah nodded to Jayna. "Yeah," she whispered, "Why does the teacher do that? It was more disruptive to hit desks than a few napping.."

I decided that, after lunch, I would skip the rest of my classes. I'd jsut go to that empty room in the science wing.

Rory nudged her twin Alex who had fallen asleep just before class had ended "Aye... Alex ya gunna get yaself a detention" Rory shouted at him but Alex just grumped in his sleep. She glanced at Conner before shurgging "Oh well... Class was interestn'" She said softly as she waited for Conner.
Alex was fast asleep.

The teacher walked to the back of the room. She rapped her ruler on his desk. "Class is over, Alex. I expect you to leave. Unless you're too busy sleeping through my class."

Sarah frowned a bit. "Teachers are weird," she mumbled as she walked alongside Jayna. "What class is next?"
COnnor nodded. "Interesting it was," he agreed and looked at Alex adn the teacher. "Maybe we should... get out of here." He didn't know what was going to happen but hopefully it wasn't bad.

Alex jumped again "Aye sorry Miss i be tired is all" He said stumbling out of the classroom.
Rory nodded and lopped her arm through Conner's "Aye i be with ya Connor" She said softly as they walked out.

Sarah smiled. Lunch, she was learning, was more like social time. She could meet new people and talk with her friends during it. SO she was liking that time more and more.
Connor lead her towards the lunchroom. "So, are you getting school lunch today or did you pack a lunch?"

((you're welcome  )) Najden I carried my two pencils to the lunch room. I'd return them to Sarah there. I would leave after that; I wasn't hungry, and I didn't have money for lunch anyway. |

Rory grinned "I made Lunch for Alex and me... I made too much yer welcome ta join us" She said holding up a big lunch box.
Alex chuckled "Me sister makes the best Lunch even makes em for Father" He added with a grin.
