((Eh, not really :\ I found some of my outlining for it though and thought about writing more but I just haven't yet... I need to make the boring parts better and build up the storyline a little longer before I get to any of the really actiony stuff... I just feel like there are a lot of blank spots to fill, it's kind of turning me off lol )) ((And idk, those were all details for your half I think, I didn't really know much about that :\))

I cast my eyes down and sighed. I should come clean with her but something was holding me back. "Do you want me to start at the beginning or just tell you why I'm in?" I ask reluctantly. I guess I would tell her whatever she wanted to know. If I was going to die it'd be nice for at least one person to know what got me to this point.

I sigh and sink down beside a tree branch, resting against it. "Well, I guess you could say it started out with my parents." I said. "Ironically enough they were both pretty deep in the government. This means I knew a lot about it and how it worked. I knew everything they knew. The deep dark secrets that the public never gets their hands on. Of course we all know how bad everything is, but I knew how much I wanted to take a stand for what I thought was right. And that meant going against everything that my parents tried to raise me to believe. I'll save you the sob story and just tell you how it ended up. They disowned me, kicked me out, and put a bounty on my head. So I had to stay low for awhile. I was only thirteen at the time but I took that as my opportunity to rally up a bit of a revolution. After about two years of rebellion, the group I rounded up was a pretty strong force to be reckoned with. We tried to take down the government once and for all..." I hesitate, remembering how everything fell apart. After debating what should be said next I decided to keep it pretty simple and deliberate. "Things didn't end up well and I got locked up." I took a deep breath, looking up at her. "And now I'm here."

I looked at him in amazement. His life was probably unbearable and he had the guts to stand up for what he believed in anyway. "Wow.. That's a pretty amazing story, I have to admit," I told him. "I'm sorry you had to go through all that.. And about your riot.. What happened there exactly? What went wrong?"

I shook my head slowly, the corner of my mouth pulling sideways flatly in an 'I don't want to talk about it' manner. I looked out, focusing on a bird sitting on a branch without thinking about it. I replied without looking at her. "Everything." I said.

I could tell Levi was done. His face turned stony closed again and my sudden feeling of trust was gone. I shut down all thoughts about my parents immediately. What did I expect? That talking about it would somehow clear the air or make me feel better? Now I probably just seemed like an emotional little girl to him. I put on my poker face and stood up. I walked past Levi, barely brushing his shoulder, and started down the trail again.

I watch her pass me and then follow her, readjusting the backpack as I went. Even though we both came clean I guess we just decided it was easier to know what happened without thinking about it. Any conversation now just felt unnecessary. After that confessional, the silence just seemed fitting.
((Hmmm... I'm debating whether now would be a good time to have something happen or not...... I feel like there should be a little more action here...))

((Hmmmm... Guard attack, wisp attack, wild animal attack... Or one of them could start to feel the effects of the darkness slowly taking control of them O.o I would say Zayna should because she's smaller it would probably start working on her faster, but she's been bleeding a lot of it out... So idk... Like how should the darkness affect them???))

((Bro I don't even know :S I'm soooo tired and I barely slept at all last night.. So I was thinkin about what could happen and if it's okay with you, I think a wild animal attack is what I'm gonna do. If not, I'll change it when I get back home tonight haha))

The silence was deafening. Each crunch of the leaves under my feet yanked me farther and farther away from our conversation. In those few moments, I had felt more connected to him than I have to anyone, besides my parents. I sighed and shook my head deciding to not dwell in it.
Suddenly, somewhere in the distance, I heard a low rumble. Thunder? A second later I heard it again, and it was closer. I stopped walking. "Did you hear that?" I asked Levi quietly as I looked around. "It sounded like.. an animal growling?"

I paused and concentrated while I listened for the growling. There it was, not too far either. "Yeah, I hear it." I listened a while longer and heard the sound growing louder. It was close enough now to hear footsteps, and there were way too many for it to be one animal. Suddenly it stopped for a moment... "That doesn't sound good." I said dreadfully as an eeriness filled the air.
There was a moment of silence and then one, long, echoing howl. A choir of yips and growls followed and the pack was on the chase. My gaze snapped to Zayna with an expression that could be summed up with a four-letter word. I look back towards the sound and reach behind me, to the gun in my waistband.
