Jones frowned "sorry, we were kinda in a hurry... Not really sure what time we should get to that important meeting." He explained, itching the back of his neck.
Kade stood back some, timid. She was hoping to meet some friends but not like this!

Echo looked at the other boy, ignoring the one who made her fall. "You know where it is?"
Blake rubbed the back of his head, looking at the other girl, "you okay?"

Jones held his hand over his chest "not me personally, but he does. I'm just along for the ride."
Kade nodded "yeah, I mean, you didn't exactly run into me. So." She trailed off, a good natured smile gracing her features. "I'm Kade. Nice to meet you."

"blake," he smiled and held out his hand, for her to shake.
Echo nodded, and then told him, "I'm Echo," She told him with a grin, holding out her hand for him to shake.
((Should something happen when they shake hands? Like a reaction between the fire and water?))

Kade took his hand, and felt a vortex pulling her toward him. She felt suddenly cold, like a void was taking her over.
"Woah." She murmured, giving his hand a squeeze without realizing she did so.
"I'm sorry if this is rude... But what are your powers?"

It took him a moment to reply, because when he touched her, he suddenly felt warm, as if he had been in the sun for hours. He pulled his hand away, and cleared his throat, "Sorry. I uh-I control the darkness," he told her, running his hand through his black hair.

She gave a bright smile, and nodded "that makes complete sense." Kade said to him, her tone excited. "I control light."
Jones took her hand, and a feeling of warm, slow bubbling washed over his hand. Almost like his hand was boiling, weird. "Jones."

Blake nodded, giving her a small smile, "I'm sorry about that. Did you get sucked in or something?" he asked, assuming because that's what had happened to him.
Echo pulled away almost immediately, cradling her hand to her chest, "Uh, what powers do you have?" She asked. When she had shook his hand, she felt like the fire inside her was being threatened.

"Water." Jones stated "let me guess, flames?" He asked her, taking a step back himself.
Kade tried to find a word to describe it. "Like... A black hole." She decided, giving a small nod

Echo nodded, "Yeah..." she frowned, looking at him, "I'm sorry if I hurt you. I didn't know." Her eyes turned a blue color, worried that she had hurt him.
Blake nodded, "I'm sorry about that," he gave her a small smile, "You're alright?"

Kade nodded, "it was actually interesting. I think that's probably what shade feels like. I've never felt it before. I'm always more or less in direct sun." She explained, feeling her aura drawn towards his. Like she was being sucked Into the black hole that was his very being, his soul.
He held out his hands. They were very red, mildly burned. "I'm okay." jones admitted.

Echo's eyes turned a dark blue as she eyes his red hands, frowning, "I'm really sorry," she mumbled, "My fire's not good for much except destruction," She forced a smile, "I'll take you to the nurse, if you want," She told him, feeling really bad. Her eyes turned green beginning to get annoyed with herself for not being able to control her powers.

Jones shook his head "No, no. It's fine. Don't worry!" He said genuinely. "It's okay. It's not all that bad anyway."
Kade took a step forward, toward him. "Where are you headed anyways?" She asked, hoping not to sound to eager. She hated that she couldn't tear her eyes off him, even if she tried.

Blake smiled down at her, "uhm, the uh, auditorium," he managed to hef out. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her.
Echo looked at his hand, and put her hands in her pocket, "I should still take you to the nurse...."

Manette nodded, "Well, That's where I'm going too..." She stepped toward him. "Maybe we could go together?"
He smiled softly and gave a nod. "Maybe that's a good idea.."
