Luna thought about it. "We can," she told him, "So you can see my remaining sister and Jasper." Then he would have seen them all.
Eric nodded. "Oh yeah. Totally," he mused to him, with this big goofy grin on. "It's real. I can hear those birds over there and music and the cars! You never told me the world was so loud!"

Jasper grinned, shrugging. "It never came up in conversation."
Cero nodded and pulled out his phone, pulling up Eric's number. It took his a moment, but he figured it out. He pressed call, and waited for him to answer.

Eric about responded but then he heard his phone ringing. Heard it! he answered it and held it up to his ear. A real phone call! "Hello?" He knew it was Cero but he wanted to have a normal conversation on teh phone just once.

"Hi, it's me. Where are you guys?" He asked as he walked with Luna. "Do you know where Jasper is?"

"I'm with him right now. We are at the park. You know, the one he used to come swing at," Eric told him, really just loving that he could talk on the phone. It was so convenient!

Eric nodded. "Cool. I'll tell the others and head that way," he mused into the phone, "bye Cero." he hung up adn loked at the others. "Lets go to the cabin to hear Jasper speak for the first time."

Eric blinked. "What? Why not?" Eric asked. Why wouldn't Jasper want his voice? This is all they could ever want. Or at least for him...

"because even if I had a voice, I wouldn't be able to talk. Not without speech therapy or something," he explained. He smiled for them. "It's okay. I can wait until the curse is broken."

Eric blinked a bit. "But.. we could work on that, Jasper..." he said, wanting his friend to have some hope too. "I'm.. I'm learning what words sound like.. It's insane how they sound versus how I thought they sounded.. And Cero... He's gonna have to learn to read.. We will all.. just.. work through this. Together."

"Don't worry so much, Eric. I couldn't use my voice if I could talk. The spell would be a waste of that's the case . It would make more sense to just wait. I can't learn to speak in twenty minutes, and the spell is temporary, right?its okay, I promise. " he smiled so his friend would know that he was okay with this.

Eric wasn't okay with this. He was reminded how temporary it was. He knew it wouldn't last... He just.. wanted to hear Jasper.. "Fine," he said as he turned, "lets go back to the cabin.. Cero's gonna meet us there."
