"Wait, before we go... Where is Kai? I want to see him," he said, looking around for him.
Vixi giggled as they ran back to the house. Once they arrived she snuck in inside with him, so they could hear Gran singing.

Luna glanced around. "Oh.. I don't know," she said as she waved her hands, requesting her ever present shadows to go find the little imp. In a few moments, a shadow came darting back, dropping the little thing at their feet. She thanked them adn bent down, picking up Kai. "Here he is."
Eric followed her, listening. Gran had already started on lunch. She was singing away in her older, high voice. It must have been so loud and silky in her prime. Eric felt his eyes watering a bit as he listened to her. He had gone his whole life never hearing this amazing woman's voice.

Cero grinned and held out his hand for him.to climb on. "You look different than I had imagined."
Vixi glanced over at Eric to see his reaction, and smiled when she saw it. She squeezed his hand gently, staying silent as she listened to Gran.

"He's not quite as cute as you imagine, huh?" Eric wiped at his eyes, trying to keep it together. Soon, her song ended. He carefully let go of Vixi's hand and started to clap for his Gran. She spun around and waved a spoon on him. "You scared me, boy." |

Cero shook his head and smiled. "No, but he's cute in his own way," he said, waving back at the pixie.
Vixi pushed him forward. "Tell her," she whispered.

Kai started jumping up and down excitedly. he could be seen! Luna smile abit. "I suppose. Don't compliment him too much or it will go to his head," she warned.
Eric didn't even look back at Vixi when he heard her. Gosh.. That was odd.. he heard.. "Well... umm..." he said slowly not sure how to say it. "I... I.. I can hear." Gran looked at the boy, wondering what kind of trick this was. It wasn't April first.. She turned back to her cooking slowly.
"That's nice dear," she said, making sure she wasn't looking at him.
"It is nice, thank you very much," Eric replied with a grin. The old woman dropped her spoon, the thing clacking agianst the floor.

Cero smiled and put Kai on his shoulder. "Come on, let's go see the town!" He started to walk there with her.
Vixi smiled widely and kept silent, not wanting to interrupt. "You two can go chat if you want," she told him quietly. "I can wait here."

Luna nodded as she took his hand, hurrying them along. She wanted him to see it all before the spell wore off. She needed to show him everything.
Gran moved over and held Eric's face between her hands. "Is it broken, then?" she asked him, "how is this possible?" Eric smiled at his gran and held her hands on his face for a moment.
"Vixi did it.. it's not broken.. just a temporary spell," Eric told her smiling. Gran's face lit up as she tuned her attention to Vixi. The old woman cradled the girl's face lovingly between her hadns like she had Eric. She placed a kiss on each of the girl's cheeks.
"Thank you, my darling. you are a gift from above. You and angel sent to us."

Cero walked along with her, taking in everything that he could. This was so amazing!
Vixi smiled, "I'm no angel," she told her. "At least, not yet. Once I break the curse, then you can call me that all you want."

Luna slowed down once they hit town. She wanted him to be able to see it all. "Oh. And we can go to your house too. So you can see things." She also wanted to find a mirror so he could see himself.
"You are, my dear. Taking care of my boy. Giving his his hearing. You are an angel," Grant old her, kissing her cheeks again. Then the old woman moved back to Eric to do the same. He couldn't believe what she sounded like. it was adorable.

Cero nodded, hoping his parents or his grandfather weren't home. It was the middle of the day, so they probably wouldn't. "Let's go to my house first," he said, looking around at all the people.
Vixi smiled and looked over at Eric. "what do you want to do now?" She whispered.

Luna nodded as she started to move down the street. She was pretty sure she knew where his house was. So she wanted to get him there. "I think it's this way."
Eric looked at her, shrugging. "I don't know.. What should I hear?"

Luna walked along til she stood in front of the other's house. "Well, here it is.. your home."
Eric nodded a bit. "Then up to my room. I ahve tons up there.'

Cero looked up at it. It wasn't as nice as the other houses in the neighborhood. The siding was fading and needed to be replaced the lawn needed to be weeded and mowed. All in all, it looked a little fun down. He frowned slightly, and walked inside.
Vixi grinned and ran up to his room. "Come on!"
