Luna looked at him. "You? I'm worried about babysitting Kai," he teased a bit as she lead him through their large garden to where the herbs grew. Thanks to some of the magic creatures, things grew rapidly here and it was always warm and perfect in the garden.
Peony readied herself as she swung before jumping off at the height point. She loved that rush of the world stopping for a few moments before she hit the ground and rolled a little, laughing loudly.
"I mean... not really. I always forget it's here because Gran tells the story way better.. because.. it's our families story. but I didn't know that before.."

"I wish I could see the garden," he said after they stepped outside. "It smells wonderful."
Jasper grinned and jumped off a moment later.
"I wonder if they'd let you see it, if there's a diary or so thing. Since its your family?"

"Someday, you will see it," Luna said smiling at him, "For now, use that nose to explore. And you can touch anything in here. None of the plants are weak so they won't mind being touched." She looked around and put him at the end of a row. "This is where you will start. I need sage, basil, chives, lavender, thyme, and marigolds."
Peony watched him sail through the air and giggled when he too hit the ground. "It's so much fun to jump! I love that feeling of the world moving in slow motion for a few moments."
"I don't know if they would.. It's your family too," Eric said softly as he looked at it, "i'd probably have to prove it was my family or something."

Cero nodded, getting to work. "I can do that."
Jasper grinned, "I saw someone break their leg doing that once."
"Prove it? The proof would be right in front of them!"

Luna smiled. "I'll be close by gathering fruit and vegetables. So just say something if you need help. And Kai is there to help too."
Peony's eyes widened. "Really? I didn't know you could do that! Did it look like it hurt?" She had never broken anything in her life so she didn't know.
"They wouldn't believe me. I'd have to like.. show them a family tree that lead back to then."

Cero nodded, giving her a smile. "Sounds good to me. Thanks, Luna." He knelt down and began to figure out which herbs were which.
Jasper nodded. "The bone came out of the skin! It was really gross."
Vixi nodded, "And Luna wouldn't like if o said it was my family's..."

Luna smiled as she saw the smile on his face. He seemed happy.. he went on to pick other stuff, moving around and humming slightly. Kai was on Cero's shoulder, watching which plant he was touching.
Peony made a face. "out?! Bones aren't supposed to be outside!" she said, wiggling on the ground because that was so gross in her mind.
Eric nodded a bit. "And it's been donated to this place.. SO I don't think they'd let me have it back.. But.. maybe.. if it is.. they'd let me see it up close...? I can say I'm doing research on my family.."

Cero smiled slightly. "Do you want to come help me?" He asked the little pixie.
Jasper nodded. "It was super bloody and gross!"
Vixi nodded, "Let's worry about that when it comes to that!" She said, bouncing along.

Kai jumped up and down. he loved to play in the plants but now he wanted to help Cero out. He could get the right plants and make sure Cero got them too.
Peony squirmed on the ground. "Grooooossss!!" she squealed, scrunching up her nose. She didn't want to see that.
Eric nodded as they neared that display. He stood at the front of it, looking at what was inside. There was a set of outfits form the time period, other little artifacts, and a few papers.

Cero smiled slightly , "okay, then crawl down to my hand and you can help me out."
Jasper smiled and got to his feet. "Well, what shall we do now?"
Vixi ran over to the artifacts and peered into the box. She tried to make out what the pages were saying.

Kai happily shimmied down the boy's arm to his hand and positioned himself just above his wrist. He looked at the plants, knowing what they all were right off the bat.
Peony looked at him as she laid on teh ground still. "I don't know. This was super fun. Now you get to pick something.
Eric watched her, letting her look at it. "Does it.. look like things from your place? Or.. does it say anything about our ancestors?"

Cero smiled, "Go ahead and start picking herbs," he told him, beginning to do just that.
Jasper lied down next to her. "Then let's just stay here."
Vixi nodded slowly, "Yeah... It kinda does," she said, making sure to face him.

Kai jumped off his hand carefully and into the plant where he scampered around for the best leaves of the plant to pick for them.
Peony giggled. "can we? Won't other people come and look at us weird? or we will be in the way for other kids to ahve fun?"
"It does?" Eric asked, wondering if he read her lips right, "Can you make out what it says? What it talks about?" Could this be a missing clue?

Cero started to pick some of the herbs. "Just put them in the bag when you have them."
Jasper shook his head, "No, we should be fine here."
Vixi tried to make out the reading through the glass. "Um... It looks like a note that one of them wrote... Um..."

((Not sure. Do we try to make steps forward in a spell or do we make it like a diary page?))
Kai nodded, but he knew the boy couldn't see him. he ran around, jumping from pants and scampering into the bag to put his gathered plant bits away.
Peony smiled up at him. "okay. Then I'm happy to lay here and look at the clouds with you."
Eric watched her lips, trying to see what she was going to say.
