Sarah watched Mrs. Shapiro, feeling bad she fell.
Connor hit Alex's arm, in a friendly way. "Come on man." he teased him. he meant it all in good fun.

After a while, I got up and walked over to the table where Sarah and Jayna were. I felt eyes on me as I sat down next to Sarah. "You may have noticed I missed some announcements," I said to her as a way of asking what they were.

Sarah nodded at him. "Oh!" she said, realizing he wished her to say them. Then she went on to tel him everything that was said before he arrived.
Connor smiled. "I don't know but I'm gonna blame you."

I listened, nodding when she reached the first thing I'd heard. Then I got up and went to the back of the room again.

I was glancing at the clock, wishing I had my charcoals, when Mr. R. announced that we could use the rest of the time to draw or paint whatever we wanted. I went to grab some paper and charcoals, almost wanting to smile.

Rory pulled out her sketch book and pencils and began to sketch.
Alex yawned he didnt want to draw he wanted to sleep.

I returned to my seat and started to draw part of a trellis, zoomed in close, interlaced with thorny roses.

Sarah smiled a bit when he left. Not because he left but because he approached her to tell him what he missed. When she heard they were drawing now, she went up and got paper and colored pencils. Maybe she could actually draw something today...
Connor smiled at them and retrieved some paints and paper. He smiled at the twins. "Tired Alex?" he teased as he put a little bit of paint of different colors on each of his fingers.

I got some chalk pastels to add color to my drawing. They were blood-red.

Connor put his hand on the paper and then mimicked playing the piano. His multi colored fingers moved across the paper, coloring it all the way.
Sarah just sketched. She knew it wasn't great but she just started drawing small things around the room.

I was working on my colored pencil sunset from a while ago.

I got a lot of progress done on my trellis, and I sat back to look at it. I'd draw in the detailed wood grain next, or maybe some chipping paint.
