"Thanks!" Sunny smiled at him, taking the box from him and holding it up. "Sweet!" Holding the cereal box under one arm, she made a big show of searching the fridge for milk and pulling some bowls and spoons out of another cabinet, humming to herself the whole time. "Breakfast is ready!" she announced, then grinned at Adrian. "But you have to pour it yourself!"

Najden shook his head and grabbed an orange for himself. He glanced over at the little girl and her friend. He knew the girl was named Sunny, but he couldn't remember the guy's name. It didn't matter much, Najden figured, leaning against the counter and beginning to peel his orange, but that fact said something about how little effort he'd put into getting to know these people. After all, Najden had been at the Chicago freak house for about four months- almost a record for him.

Aryan heard the driver slowly pull to a stop, and looked around. Sure enough, here they were. Her new hell. She mentally prepared herself for the questions and introductions she would have to make, and the rejections from people she would have to face. She didn't put against anyone of them personally, after all they'd had just as hard of a time adjusting to being ripped away from their families as anyone.
Thomas looked down at Sunny and smiled a bit, "Can I have some too?" He asked, coming up to the table where she held the box.

He laughed and nodded, "okay, I'll pour my own, I guess. Even though I gave you a piggy back ride!" He pouted.

Sunny laughed at Adrian, crossing her arms over her chest in mock annoyance. "Well, FINE," she told him, then burst out laughing. She lined up three bowls, tipping the last of the cereal into them. "Alright, here's one for you!" she told Thomas, holding one out to him. "And here's yours," she told Adrian, "and this one's me lucky charms!" She tried to make her voice sound like the leperchaun guy in the commercials.

Adrian laughed, "I'll just carry you around more!"

Thomas smiled a bit, "No milk for me," he said to Adrian, taking a spoon and eating the dry cereal.

Jayna settled herself on one of the steps. People were still arriving- perhaps they were waiting for everyone to to get there before letting them into the freak house. The man who'd been in the taxi with her had moved to the edge of the group, no longer acting like her own personal menacing shadow.

Echo smiled, "I'll be back," she put Coley down and walked upstairs, tapping on the shut in's door.

Xavier stood, figuring that the knocking was coming from the person sent to deliver him the early morning pill. He opened, it, eyebrows raising when he saw Echo, a girl he knew of but had never really spoken much too. Then again he didn't speak to anyone much. "Can I help you?" He asked

Echo looked up at him and asked, "are you sure you don't want to come down and meet the new people? Or...at least let them come up and meet you?"

Xavier frowned, "Why would I?" He asked, sighing to himself. These people would just never understand.

Echo shrugged, "I just figured maybe you'd want to. But that okay if you're not. "

Xavier nodded, "It'd be better for everyone if I just stayed in here." He forced a smile, "Go do your thing."

Echo frowned, and said, "they don't have to come in, or even get close. Just let them come say hi. Okay?"
